I met Mrs. Fleck two years ago during a visit to Kelowna. The day I was here there were parents hosting a BBQ in the parking lot. I felt a sense of community and positivity. I value Catholic education and knew this school was a great fit for me.
I love my colleagues and students. We work hard but have fun too! I like the way the school feels - warm and welcoming.
Morning prayer with my students. It is a chance for us to connect, offer our special intentions, and build our classroom community.
I was surprised that students say thank you at the end of the day.
I grew up in Peterborough, Ontario. We moved to Kelowna for better weather and to enjoy the mountains!
I like to be active outdoors, read, and spend time with my family.
I wanted to be an actress 😊
My husband, Derek Krete, works at Kelowna General Hospital. We have a daughter, Ella, who is 14 years old and attends Immaculata. Our son, Hunter, is 20 years old and in his third year at Wilfred Laurier University in Ontario. We also have a dog, Fiona, who looks more like a horse!
